The Okra tasted like they had picked it from the backyard and fried it. And my double burger was absolutely phenomenal. If I'm ever driving through that part of the country side again I will be returning.
The best cheeseburger in Union County! Quite inexpensive and huge portions! A must when you’re traveling down 601.
I came on this little gem by accident and I am so happy i did. I ordered the popular double cheese burger. My eyes were obviously bigger than my stomach. The burger alone was the most satisfying burger i have ever had! Now I sit here, too full to move. I’m ready for a nap. Cash only but they do have an ATM on sight.
Nice little joint on 601 north of downtown Monroe. Very friendly staff. Had breakfast which was great and something about having coffee is a styrofoam cup was awesome. Cash only which has an ATM, will be back to check out dinner menu.
I wrote this 2 years ago AND STILL agree with this review 100%: I LOOOOOVE This place! Just a 'TO THE POINT' country restaurant.... Whenever I am in that area, usually when I see my friend up in High Rock lake, I make it a MUST to stop and eat there!!!!!!!!

Searched for nice burger spot. Found that they serve them all the way as a default. I'm a country boy at heart so I liked that. Pulled up to a small place right off 601. Walked in and was amazed by the vintage decor. This is the kind of place I frequented growing up in the Carolinas. Felt like home. Was greeted by a wonderful waitress, she was very polite. Ordered a cheese burger all the way, onion rings, and a cherry Pepsi. Food came out in about 7 minutes. Took it home and devoured it. Way better than a smash burger from the modern burger spots. Would definitely recommend and visit next time I come through Monroe. Thank you
Great local spot. Stopped for breakfast but know for their burgers. Always good!
